The San Pareil/Parksville studio tour is back for another year.

The San Pareil/Parksville studio tour is back for another year, running July 13 and July 14.

Artists in and around the communities of Parksville and Qualicum Beach are opening up their studios for two days, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., according to a news release.

The tour allows people the opportunity to chat with the artists about how they create beautiful works of art. This year it will be showcasing 17 artists at 11 locations.

"Again this year, some of the artists have agreed to donate a piece of art and there will be a silent auction to raise funds to support a local charity in the area," the release said. "So come buy a piece of art and support someone in need of financial assistance. In 2023 we donated $2,400 to a local young woman with two disabled children."

One option is to pick up the brochure/map and start the tour at 856 Terrien Way.

Brochures will also be available in advance from the McMillan Arts Centre (MAC) at 133 McMillan St. in Parksville or at The Old School House Arts Centre (TOSH) at 122 Fern Rd. in Qualicum Beach.
