2-vehicle crash in Errington results in minor injuries

Oil on roadway being investigated as contributing factor

Minor injuries were reported following a two-vehicle collision in Errington on Thursday morning.

Sgt. Shane Worth of the Oceanside RCMP said police, fire officials and BC Ambulance personnel responded to the crash, in the 1600 block of Errington Road, at approximately 11:40 a.m.

Worth noted a Mercedes and a Toyota were involved in a collision, after the Mercedes crossed into the oncoming lane.

There were reports of oil on the roadway which is being investigated as a contributing factor in the collision, said Worth.

"There were some minor injuries, however nobody was transported to hospital," he said. "The vehicles were towed from the scene."
